There is definitely a concern for those selling firearms moving forward, although it’s not specifically “cut and dry” like that. They have stated that individual sellers can keep selling privately, as they have. However, sellers can also technically be considered as “engaged in the business” under certain circumstances including selling for a profit, resale intentions, etc. Unfortunately (as usual), the BATFE has not made it all that clear those exact thresholds.
Although it does not necessarily change where or how you can sell your items, it can have implications for some people regarding “private” vs “dealer” sales.
And you are absolutely correct that people need to VOTE WISELY in the upcoming election and fight rules like this.
